Our Story
Tres Coffee Bar was created by Angel and Mariela, a husband-and-wife team who turned their love for coffee into a dream that brings people together.
What started as weekend visits to cafés back home became a passion for discovering what makes coffee special, the aroma, the flavor, and the conversations it creates.
When they moved to Houston, they saw an opportunity to share that same feeling with others. They wanted to bring the joy, connection, and sense of community that good coffee creates. Out of that vision, Tres Coffee Bar was born.
The name Tres is deeply personal. It represents their three children, the heart of their family and their greatest inspiration. It also represents the three things they love most: coffee, chocolate, and tea. And it reflects their faith, a reminder to serve others with gratitude and purpose.
Angel and Mariela believe that coffee is more than a drink. It is an experience that can elevate any celebration, from weddings and quinceañeras to corporate gatherings and private events. Every cup they serve carries a piece of their story, their culture, and their commitment to excellence.
